Meet Joseph Coletta

Joseph was born and raised in Southern California, USA. His first experience with chiropractic began as a child playing ice hockey and suffering multiple back injuries. Treatments from his local chiropractor allowed Joseph to remain active throughout his childhood and adulthood.

As an adult, Joseph worked as an ambulance paramedic, specializing in emergency medicine. As a paramedic, patient care and transport frequently caused back pain. Joseph combined chiropractic care with painkillers to alleviate the pain, but he realized that the medication only reduced the pain and did not treat the root cause. He decided to pursue chiropractic as a career and to deepen his knowledge of health and the human body.

Joseph graduated from the Southern California University of Health Sciences with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He moved to the Netherlands to provide meaningful care to people in need. While practicing in the Netherlands, Joseph and his business partner, George Ellis, founded Chiropractie Centraal in 2017.

He also volunteers and enjoys mentoring new chiropractors and students interested in chiropractic. In 2019, Joseph was one of three professionals nominated as Chiropractor of the Year in the Netherlands. In his free time, Joseph enjoys reading and spending time with his family.
