George grew up in New Zealand where, like most New Zealanders, he spent all his free time outdoors and playing sports. He enjoyed kayaking, skiing, water skiing, diving, fishing, hiking, rugby, canoeing, polo, surfing and exploring all that New Zealand’s great outdoors has to offer.

At the age of 14, he fell down an 8 metre high waterfall and immediately felt something wrong with his lower back. “I did what most people do and ignored it until it was really bad. I had to stop all my sports and even school. After a few months of trying everything I could think of and getting really frustrated with all the things I couldn’t do, my friend suggested I visit his chiropractor. I was amazed at the results and got my life back straight away. I knew from then on what I wanted to be: a chiropractor! I understand all too well since that incident what it feels like when your health stops you from doing what you love.”

George studied Health Science and Biochemistry at the University of Otago in New Zealand before commencing his university studies in Chiropractic at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in Auckland. He graduated with distinction in 2009 and also won the John Nolan award for excellence in diagnostic imaging and the Adjustment Award. George has completed several postgraduate courses since then. George has a particular interest in vertebral and intervertebral problems.
